Awesome! Thanks for your speedy release of episode 2! Though even if it wasn’t a speedy release, I’d definitely wait to watch GotSpeed’s subs.
This is definitely a great new series to watch as Mirai Nikki ends soon.
The voice actors, music, and animation style are amazing for this series, pretty faithful adaption of the manga. Though the same could definitely be said for Mirai Nikki as well.
Just curious, has anyone at GotWoot read the manga before subbing the first episode of Nazo no Kanojo X?

No reason, just curious. It’s definitely one of my favorite ongoing manga series, alongside Kuroshitsuji and Deadman Wonderland, which I’m glad you also subbed that series! I like how GotWoot subbed both Deadman Wonderland and Mirai Nikki. They’re both similar in some ways.

Do I need to do anything special to install the missing fonts? Do they come with instructions already? Do I even need the missing fonts? What do the missing fonts do – what are they for?
It sounds like dumb questions, because I really don’t know this stuff… Dumb, eh?

Usually the fonts used in an ep’s subs are attached within the .mkv file, but we forgot to do that. twice.
Your video player should recognize that your computer has the missing fonts after you install the fonts (on windows I think it’s just right click -> install) onto your computer. In this case the missing fonts are just for the opening and ending song credits, so if you’re just gonna skip the opening/ending songs (and you shouldn’t b/c they’re awesome), then don’t worry about installing the fonts.

OK, second episode watched and I’m loving this series already. They really managed to get the same feeling as the manga does. Every chapter makes me feel good, and so does the anime episodes.
I found only one mistake in your translation that is worth noting, and it’s the syllable “dzu” (in lyrics), Hepburn (which you use otherwise) doesn’t have that syllable. It’s just “zu”. I know that it comes from “tsu”, and when you add the ” (I forgot the Japanese word for it, sorry) it sounds logical it turns out to be “dzu”, but no, it’s “zu”.
So it’s Tezuka instead of Tedzuka, kizutsukeru instead of kidzutsukeru and so on. I know this is nitpicking and it really doesn’t matter but your translation clearly aims to be as good as possible, so just pointing this out.
